Welcome to Master Pae’s World Class Martial Arts Academy! This training center provides martial arts instruction to families and individuals in the Lakewood, Washington area. Programs include Tae Kwon Do, Hap Ki Do, weapons techniques, mixed martial arts/boxing, plus sparring & black belt instructor clubs.

Taekwondo -- is a Korean martial art and is defined as tae meaning "to strike with foot"; kwon meaning "to strike with fist"; and do meaning "way" or "art". Therefore, taekwondo may easily translate as "the way of the foot and fist" or "the art of kicking and punching".
Hapkido -- is yet another Korean martial art defined as hap meaning “harmony”, “coordinated”, or “joining”; ki describes internal energy, spirit, strength, or power; and do meaning “way” or “art”. Therefore, hapkido may easily translate as “joined-energy-way”, “the way of coordinating energy”, “the way of coordinated power” or “the way of harmony”.
